Car won't start

Vehicle Information: Model: 911SC; Year: 1979; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 80,000;

My car has been stored for the past year. I filled it full of fuel, put in stabilizer, and parked it in an enclosed trailer. It was started at about the 6 month point and run until warm. After moving from VA the car started, but ran rough. It was left for another 2 months in the trailer. Recently I attempted to start it and had no luck. Turns over fine and runs roughly on ether. There is spark so I think it's a fuel delivery problem. With the key on I hear a hum which I believe is the fuel tank pump up front--there is no noise in the engine compartment. I loosened a line on top of the fuel distributor and there was no fuel present after cranking the engine. I've checked the fuel pump breaker and it appears good. I've ciphoned out 10 gal of gas and it smells stale, although it readily ignites when I throw a match in a small quantity on the ground. Should I drain the gas? If so, where do I dispose of it?--already have 10 gals ready to go somewhere. What would you do next?
