CDR 220 question

Electrical and Electronic

Vehicle Information: Model: 996; Year: 2000; Body Type: Cabriolet; Total Mileage: 65000;

Joel,Ref the question from the person having a difficult time inserting a CDR-220 into his stack. Having removed & replaced mine a number of times, I have found it greatly helps to remove the climate control module (which is directly above my radio). Pop off the trim surround and remove only 2 screws. Climate control very easily comes out, allowing much more room to insert and properly position radio and associated wiring. Then, climate control (which takes up less room behind the front surface), is easy to reinsert.
