Hi Joel,I saw this posting and would like to add the following : In the 993....the Eddie Bauer seat fits very tight using the seat belt. It does not work threading the belt through the back and securing the child with the three way harness {due mainly to the fact that the seat belt won't lock into a tight position}. My daughter was three when I started with the Cosco seat. The seat has seat belt guides in 2 positions on each side. They hold the belt in the proper position depending on the childs size.As far as I know, the very expensive, Porsche seat is for the front seat. I could never get anyone to confirm that it fit in the rear of the car.Unfortunately, I no longer have the seat or I would try it in my new 997 and let you know if it fits. The newer cars are bigger. I really think it will work. The key is the smaller base and the taper. The seats with square bases will not fit.One more thing......put an old towel or something similar under the seat to protect against creases in the seat and damage to the carpet. If I can be of more assistance let me know. Joel....when I sell my 993.....I will miss you. I just bought my new 997 S in July and I love it.All the best,Jennifer
