Clicking sounds from front brakes

Vehicle Information: Model (Boxster, Boxster S,Cayman, Cayman S): Boxster; Year: 1999; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.5l flat 6 ; Total Mileage: 50,000; Transmission: Manual;

About 5 to 10 thousand miles ago I had to replace the front brake pads on my car. after I did this they started to squeak really bad and then I started to notice a clicking sound like the pads moving inside the caliper. I hear it when there is a change in direction say you are backing out the first time you use the brakes it goes click. I have tried all kinds of anti-squeak stuff and it has had no effect at all. I don't remember my car doing this before the pad change and I even swapped back in the old pads and had not change to the sounds. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.
