Hello, car had clutch adjusted 2 mos ago because it was hard to get into first/reverse once tranny was warm(cold it was fine).......yesterday while driving, clutched to shift and heard mild clatter (like fork rubbing press plate?) and then on next shift the clutch pedal stayed down. Now it just feels like it has disconnected freewheel action when I use my hand but car is not driveable and is at a mechanic hours from my home. Has cable broke?..was it adjusted too tightly by mechanic?...he had said " you have no more adj. left"....he also adj pedal stop.In addition, would a worn clutch produce symptoms as car has had no other clutch issues? Pls advise,...TIA
