Transmission and Clutch

Vehicle Information: Model: 911-C4; Year: 1990; Body Type: Convertible; Engine (type, size, modifications): Lowered suspension by previous owner. No details on the component used.; Total Mileage: 118,000 km;

I had a chance to drive another 1990 C4 this summer and found the clutch on that car much lighter when compared to mine. Mine requires a heavy foot and a pain to drive in stop and go traffic. The immediate past owner (the third) advised that it is so from the first day he owned it and past maintenance record did not suggest any work was done on the drivetrain. Is there a way to make the clutch lighter?(I use the car occasionally in auto-x.)Thanks.
