Vehicle Information: Model : 997 cab; Year: 2005; Mileage: 2800;

After somewhat hard or "spirited" driving, shifting gears at approx. 6000 rpm I notice what appears to be a burning smell when I park the car in my garage. I am not hole-shotting the car or racing it. Just driving it as a Porsche. My dealer says not to worry as it is normal and the 997 is meant to be driven. I'm a bit gun shy as a previous Boxster that I owned demonstrated similiar symtoms just prior to a total clutch failure which was covered under warranty. Is this normal or should I insist the dealer take some more definative action while the car is still under warranty?Thank youJay Gilbert
