Clutch Adjustment challange

Vehicle Information: Model: 911; Year: 1967; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.4 , webbers, chain tensioner (internals unknown); Total Mileage: 71 K;

Background: I bought this car in non running condition without the knowledge of its history ... bottem line is some has put a lot of effort to rebuild it .... with various 911 parts from the early years. I have read a few questions similar to this but mine could be simpler. The chassis is a 67 serial #306093 with a 70 vintage 901 trany and a pull type clutch mated to a 73-1/2 2.4 cis converted to webbers. Will the 67 pedal cluster clutch pull the cable far enough to disengage the clutch when it has the proper fee play. I have adjusted it both ways (even removing the floor board) and it seems that the cable just doesn't pull far enough to achieve the proper adjustments. The cluch and pressure plate look like they are in newer condition. ThanksEric
