In your response on 5/16/10 to my question about clutch chatter, you asked "when does it happen?" The chatter is a vibration or shaking that occurs during clutch release. It occurs during downshifting and in reverse. Your previous response indicated the clutch may be used up. You mentioned that it is normal to replace the pressure plate and release bearing with the clutch disc. Assuming that the clutch needs replacing, are there other parts or maintenance items that you would take a look at since the engine will be out? For example: the clutch cable, wiring harness or anything with the engine itself (which runs great).
