Clutch rebuild

Model: 944, Year:1983, Mileage:45000, Type of use:Street use only
I have owned my 1983 944 since new. It has only 45000 original miles. My question is, if the clutch is performing well, should I leave it alone or should it be rebuilt due to it's age?Thanks
