Clutch/CPO

Transmission

Model: C2S-Cab, Year:2006, Mileage:33,800, Type of use:Street use only
I recently bought a 2006 c2S 6 spd. The car has 34,000. Street driven only. recently the clutch has been throbbing when i push it in, particularly at low speeds. The pedal feels much different, and I am in the process of making an appointment with the dealer. If I need a new clutch, is this covered under the CPO?Is this a good time to consider replacing the IMS bearing? If not covered under the CPO, there is a independent in the Milwaukee area called Tarkus Automotive who enjoys a good reputation. Is there a clutch kit I should consider besides the factory one?I am looking at the Clutchmaster FX300, your thoughts? Some opinions state that replacing the IMS bearing at 50K(proactively) is a good idea. Do you have an opinion on-suitable replacement provider;would it be less expensive to do this in conjunction with a clutch replacement? Thanks,Chris Lie
