Transmission and Clutch

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 Carrera Cabriolet; Year: 1985; Body Type: Convertible; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2 non-turbo; Total Mileage: 168,000;

I have recently moved to an area that has a great number of long hills. I have begun putting the car in neutral and coasting on the long down-grades, quite often up to a stop sign or red light, but sometimes requiring putting the car back in gear for the next uphill stretch. Am I hurting the engine or transmission in any way?
