cold oil - oil change

I have enjoyed reading your answers, so I thank you for your time.I don't think this question has been asked before. I realize the oil should be changed when hot, but it is not fun to have hot oil running down my arm !!! So, I thought I might change it more often if I could do it when it is cold. How much oil should I put in after a "cold oil oil change"? I would drain the tank, crankcase, and change filter as normal. Or, should I not even be thinking about doing that? Would the torque specification for the drain plugs change if the parts are cold? I'm pretty sure it won't, I just thought I would ask.Thank you.
