Cold Start Issue

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 Carrera; Year: 1985; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2; Total Mileage: 107,000;

Chris,When I go to start the car (which is a weekend car, but kept on a battery tender), I have to crank it multiple times (easily 7-8 times and t seems to get worse with time), if/when it starts it will idle rough for about 10 seconds then stall. The only way I can get it to work is to keep it at about 2k revs manually for a minute or two and/or rev the engine up and down, then it will typically run fine once it's warm.I've had cold start up problems in the past on occassion, but it has hit a level that the car cannot safely be taken anywhere for fear of being stranded. I swapped out the DME, no change. The three reference sensor plugs (or what I assume to be) look pretty good, for what it's worth. Any thoughts? I know this may turn into my mechanic hunting around, any thoughts on what order we should begin placing items?Thanks,Todd
