Fuel System

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 SC; Year: 1983; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 91000;

I recently asked a question on cold idle and driveability. So far I have reseated the oil filer cap and checked the voltage on the O2 sensor. Well, the car runs fine. It was idling up and down while I was checking the sensor voltage. The idle then returned to normal. My symptoms were very low idle, popping back into the airbox and stumbling. It really seemed like the engine was missing. Are these classic signs of a vacuum leak (oil filler cap) or is there a fuel injection module that could intermittently fail and cause these problems? At this point the motor has been tuned up, I replaced the airbox, fuel accumulator, and fuel pump check valve. The motor was running fine (maybe 500 miles) and then I got the symptoms listed. Thanks for your help.
