Coolant System Bleeder Valve Operation

Engine

My coolant temperature is typically 180 degrees when driving on freeway. Its just about near the zero during city driving 195 degrees. The coolant level when cold is at minimum mark and after driving home from work (freeway driving) temp 180-195 its at the maximum mark. I also notice the bleeder valve post that has the ring attached is raised slightly after drive home. The bleeder post when cold in morning is down. Is this normal for the bleeder post to move up and down during these normal operating temperatures?
