Car Purchase

Model: 993, Year:1996, Mileage:18000, Type of use:Street use only
Hi Joel,I recently purchased a 993 CS4 with 18000 miles from a well known and "respected" Porsche dealer. Of course CARFAX was clean (two owners) and the car was priced below what everyone else would be asking for this model and mileage. I saw the car during the day, test drove it could not find any obvious damages. This dealership has had an extensive history with this car and apparently at some point they bought this car from the original owner as a traded in. I was given all the service history documents and assurance that this car was original without an modifications/damages.To make the story short, it appears that one side of the car and the exterior engine hood have been painted over. It is a settle difference, but visible. I can not imagine that the dealer, having known this car for all this time, did not notice the difference. My question: what are my options as a consumer and what would be the best course of action? I do like the car, but at this point I feel like I'got smeared. Thanks
