I bought my car in August from a Charlotte Porsche dealer. This month, I was driving the car under normal conditions and parked it for about 3 hours. When I restarted it, I noticed the following conditions:1.Check Engine light was illuminated. Computer said Engine fault.2.Speed limit light was illuminated as if activated.3.Gas low warning red light was illuminated but gas level was full.4.Temperature gauge warning light was illuminated but engine temperate was within normal operating range. About 180.5.Tachometer was not working and doesnt move. The mileage was at 54,326 miles. I have only driven the car about 2,500 miles since I purchased in back in August. Car seems to run normal and I have not noticed any new noises or anything unusual. Prior to the 5 conditions happening all at once, I did not detect anything unusual either. I took it into my local Porsche dealer (Columbia, SC) and they replaced the DME unit. It corrected all the above problems but the cost was over $2K. Did you ever hear of such a thing? This is my first Porsche and I am disappointed.
