door glass adjustment

Vehicle Information: Model: 911sc; Year: 1983; Body Type: Targa; Total Mileage: 136,000;

Chris:As a followup to my question and your answer,I've discovered that my Targa has neither the center screw stop nor the stop in the track.Fortunately,I stumbled upon the answer.The window height adjustment is an allen headed screw near the electric motor and can't be seen until the window is lowered so the screw comes into view through a hole in the door.The adjustment is very simple.The Bentley manual has an incorrect note on this adjustment in the DOOR section however,on another page it has the correct information listed for Targa and Cab. models.This adjustment is very critical to a tight seal around the side windows.Thanks for your help.Jim
