ducting behind center ac vents

Heating and Ventilation

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 SC; Year: 1981; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 134.500;

Just bought my '81 911 SC and had my A/C charged. The leftside center vent works great, but the rightside center vent blows no air. And it's clear as to why. If I open the bonnet up front, I can clearly see daylight through the rightside vent of the center AC vent area. Looks like some supply ducting got itself misaligned or somehow worked it's way out of alignment to that vent. I removed the protective shroud from the area under the bonnet (upper firewall area) where it seemed that I would have the best access to that area. Looks like an awful lot of ducting and related equipment to remove in order to get access to where I think I can slide the ducting back over the vent. Not sure exactly what I can remove, what I should remove, and what I should not touch. Since I'm new to working on Porsches, thought this would be a good opening for me to ask a question here. So the question is - how do I realign the supply ducting behind the center vents?Any ideas?Thanks
