Electronic throttle inconsistency

Electrical and Electronic

Model: 911 Carrera , Year:2004, Mileage:35,000, Type of use:Street use only
I own a 2004 996 Carerra 2. I love everything about the car except the very inconsistent response from the electronic throttle. I have tried everything I know to help reduce this problem (trying to be ultra precise in the manner I roll on and off the throttle, running with PSM turned off, etc. I consider this problem "manageable," but it shouldn't have to be, in my estimation. Major symptoms are as follows:a.) At low speeds with steady pedal pressure, the car tends to surge.b.) Very difficult to match revs well on heel & toe downshifts, and downshifts, in general.c.) Occasionally (i.e., enough to be annoying) the throttle doesn't retard fully on upshifts.I've consulted three different dealerships and they look at me like they don't have a clue...and obviously, they don't. I understand electronic throttles are not going to give me the good old cable response I'd like, but surely they can be better than what I'm experiencing here. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bob Mallory,Niwot, Colorado
