Hi Chris,Just a follow up to your interesting answer to me on September 11, 2007 with respect to the SM or SL rated oil problem. Valvoline makes a 20W-50 VR 1 Racing oil which is apparently rated SL. Do you think that this would be a suitable alternative for my use or is racing oil not suitable for longer term general/Track day use?Since the price of racing oil approaches that of synthetic (at least here in Canada), I am wondering if I should make the jump now. Any thoughts? I note that Porsche recommends Mobil 10W-40 for older 911's. Can you clarify if this is applicable to Turbos as well, please. Would Mobil 5W-50 also work of summer driving/track use?I really enjoy your Technical Q&A Section email subscription.Johan Carnell
