hello, well i was doing ok trying to stop leaks- now the car is pouring blue smoke & add'l leaksmy issue is that if I do a top end rebuild for a few $$$- seems like a waste of money if the bottom fails next or I do not stop the leaks. i talked to motor meister in calf. for $4000 they will rebuild. the engine seems like a ok priceorig clutch & trans- motor meister wants the whole thing shipped to them- think I should rebuild the clutch at least?? (cost around $600 add'l to the $4000)motor meister thinks ishould do the following upgrades:port & polish the vlaves for $700 +/-different cam geared towards the lower end for $600 ( i think that is what he said)I do like to punch the car when the family is not with me.i live in michigan. any shops here in mich u know of.motor meister rebuilds 200 911's per yr seems like they are the pro's. shops in mich are very open that they send the engines to calif. mich shops want the oil changes & routine maint-not the techincal engine/trans jobsknow of any other shops that can do the work for comparison shopping?? i drive the car on weekends mostly & do not race the carjust a fun cruiser w/top down & family- yeah all 4 of us jam into the car.any words of wisdom/advise to pass on.thxtom
