Engine stutter

Electrical and Electronic

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 carrera; Year: 1984; Body Type: Targa; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2 stock; Total Mileage: 102K;

This is the car that momentarily cuts out and stutters. Yesterday for the first time it quit completely and I had to pull off the road. But after setting for a few seconds it fired up and got me home but it did stutter a few times as I accelerated.Where exactly are the oxygen sensor and the head temperature sensor located?And what is the proper procedure for changing both of them?I have seen the recommendation that the old style head temp sensor with a single terminal be replaced. When I pry off the white connector (top one of the three attached to the stalk attached to the manifold) I do have the single terminal. What I cannot see is where the other end of the head temp sensor attaches to the engine. What should be removed to gain access to removing it from the engine? I understand that it should be a 13mm hex size. Please advise.Thanx much.
