Thanks for the response. Just so you know, I found out that this procedure can be done without having to get any additional bracket for the install. All you need is the trim piece and if you have a black plastic dash, that part is 996 552 339 00 01C.Also, removal of the "cubby" below the CD holder (and that as well) is a piece of cake as everything just pops out. One more question, however. Is there any way to slide my CDR-210 forward an inch or two to be able to drop the climate control harness behind it WITHOUT the stereo unit's removal tools?
