driving thru payson az yesterday, on uphill section under load very hot day. car lost rpms, went to zero. had run hard from phx. got lunch was looking for hotel room. car sat 1 hour during lunch. fresh gas new everything on engine. after sitting on side off road, engine fired. could not give gas or would die. cough sputter etc. finally cleared itself out. went downhill 45 mph. died again lost all rpms. coasted into circle k. after sitting 2 hrs. fired up and ran. outside payson(mile hi elevation) on uphill w/AC running craps out again, fires again and gives no problems and got home. seemed like when you would give it gas after dying that was wrong thing to do until it cleared itself out. what should i look for? thanks chuck kieffner p.s. took off gas cap no huge suction ie. vapor lock. this car has had over 18k bucks shoved into body engine suspension tires wheels etc. just left patrick motorsports here and they found no problems whatso ever
