Fuel line replacement

Fuel System

Vehicle Information: Model: Carrera ; Year: 1988; Body Type: Convertible; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2L; Total Mileage: 80,000;

After replacing what I thought was a leaking #5 fuel injector I discovered that the leak is in the fuel line that connects the left and right fuel rails. The line (P/N 930 110 595 05 M260) runs behind the fan shroud and then "T's" off and runs under the induction manifold to where I'm not sure, perhaps the fuel pump.My question is, can this line be replaced without removing the engine and what is the best way to accomplish this? The dealer claims it can be done in about 1 hour's time. Thanks,Chris Fair
