Fuel mixture

Fuel System

Vehicle Information: Model: 911; Year: 1985; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2; Total Mileage: 111,000;

Can one use a voltage meter attached to the O2 sensor plug on a 3.2 motor to set fuel mixture? I read somewhere that connected by the meter's red wire and grounded with the black to the body, and with the motor running, one should adjust the mixture until the voltage meter reads "7", but I can't remember for which motor that applies??Thanks.
