Chris before storing my car for the central NY winter I changed the oil and filter like I have in past years. After starting the car up I checked oil level on dip stick on level ground and idling. The dipstick read in the normal range I used 10.5 quarts. But after getting in the car and looking at the oil level gauge I noticed the needle was bouncing around erratically . I think This is an electrical issue ,possible a ground. The fuel level side of the gauge is working normal I noticed there is a wire harness running under the oil filter.I don't I pinched any wires.Do you have any thoughts as to where I should look.Thank you for your help.
