Fuel pump not running

Fuel System

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 Targa; Year: 1986; Body Type: Targa; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2; Total Mileage: 74,000;

After starting the car from winter storage I drove it for about 70 miles and parked it in the driveway. After sitting for 2 hours it wouldn't start, cranking over but no start. It wasn't getting any gas. The fuel pump was getting power but not running so I replaced the pump. After replacing the pump, car still wouldn't start. We tested the old pump off the car and it worked. The new pump on the car, after jumping it, ran but the car still didn't start. Is there some type of electrical shut off that would cause the pump not run even though its getting power? Not sure what to look for next.
