GT3 Fuel Treatment

Fuel System

Vehicle Information: Year: 97; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 32700;

I was just reading the post regarding the 2004 GT3 Fuel Treatment for storage concerns. Page 117 of my 993/97 Owner's Manual, under "Storing your Porsche Vehicle" states that for storage, tank should be filled up. I think the reason is to prevent moisture from taking up an empty space that could eventualy cause corrosion in the lines. Also, manual also says that to prevent flat spotting, pressurized tires to 58psi/4bar and move vehicle slightly every 4 weeks. It goes on to say: -Ensure Airconditioning system is fully charged, -Disconnect battery and charge every 3 weeks(slow charge), -Put 3 fabric bags of silica gel on the interior floor. Hope this helps.
