GTS -20MM suspension

Model: 996-110, Year:2002, Mileage:25000, Type of use:Street use only
I have about 3-4 days to make my final selections for a Carrera 4 GTS coupe. One of the no cost options is the "sport suspension" with beefier sway bars. My 2002 has racing springs and toe links, and is about 2-3/4" from the pavement to the bottom of the Vortex deflector to the front disks. I understand that the -20 MM sport suspension will get me about 1/4" lower than I currently am, should be able to get into the garage. The Service Tech at my PORSCHE dealer says "go for it, looks better, there when you push the buttons". One of the reasons for the new car is that the 2002 seats did not work for the wife, solved, getting the adaptive sport seats, the other was that the 996 seems to pound even with changing the air in the tires to various settings.Question: For street and freeway (CA) use, how much harsher is the "Sport Suspension"?
