Hard start after fueling

Fuel System

Model: 996, Year:2000, Mileage:75000, Type of use:Street use only
I have a 2000 996C2. I just purchased the car and drove it from Texas to Florida. The car ran great except after I fueled it. After filling it up, I had to crank it and crank it till it fired. It idled a bit rough but would smooth out once I was back on the interstate. The car started without a problem at every stop I made. I fueled up 5 times and every time it had the hard start problem. I filled up to the click and when at 1/4 tank. I even tried running it down lower and filled it...same problem. I have cleaned the MAF but that is as far as I have gotten. What could be causing this hard start problem? It is embarrassing to sit at the pumps and crank this thing over and over. Thanks for any advice you can give.Ed SeifertFlorida Crown PCA
