Headlight Issues after touchless carwash high pressure underspray

Electrical and Electronic

Vehicle Information: Model : Carrera S; Year: 2008; Mileage: 4000;

I ran my car through a touchless car wash the other night. (Too cold to wash in the driveway by hand.) The touchless car wash has a high pressure underspray that may have contributed to this issue. When I got home I started detailing the car. As I was detailing the passenger side rear wheel, the front headlights came on! (All by themselves.) I opened the door, they went off. I started back detailing, they came back on! I repeated this about three or four times and decided to crank up the car to see if the issue would clear. It did not.I finally (guessed) there must be water somewhere in the car's electrical that was causing a short, so I drove the car for about 10 minutes on the highway. (Everything worked perfectly, including the headlights and all electrical systems.)When I returned, I resumed the detailing job and have not had any issues since.My question: What caused this bizarre electrical behavior?I have not had any issues since, but my concern is this car has never been driven in the rain. Should I expect this to happen again if it rains? Should I have the car checked out at the dealer just in case? or is it just a whacky electrical issue that reset itself?Thanks,Wayne
