I replaced my tach with an aftermarket tach with memory. When I did this, I lost the high beam indicator light. To compensate, I rewired it to operate the CAT light from my former emission control system. The problem is that although my highbeams work fine and the CAT light glows brightly, my low beams are very dim and the CAT light has a faint glow. I have heard that there might have been a resistor in the original highbeam indicator light circuit. Is that the case? If not, any other ideas?
