Heads and Cam Tower Removal

Engine

Vehicle Information: Model: Porsche 964; Year: 1991; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.6L; Total Mileage: 60000;

I'm planning to send out my heads for valve and seat work, plus perhaps even polish the cam while the engine out of the car. Before doing so, I just wanted to confirm what I've read (Dempsey's book and the Shop Manual) that I can remove the entire cam housing and heads as a single unit. To do this (and I think I already know the answer), I need to open up the chain housing, remove the cam nut, tensioners, etc., then pull the chain housing back from the engine to free up the cam housing/heads in order to remove. If so, then I should get the Porsche recommended tools to do.Any advice before doing so is greatly appreciated.Thank you.
