Higher power

Vehicle Information: Model (914/4, 914/6): 914/4; Year: 1972; Engine (type, size, modifications): 1700+; Total Mileage: High;

[This is my second try at sending this--I got a didn't send indication--sorry if you're getting it twice] Ed: Thanks for the helpful hints on high power from a four--and the comments on turbos as well. Before I make any decision, seems like I need to get a general idea of cost--as I said, Jake Raby charges $5-6 grand for the "kit" of parts to do his 2.27L. Are you talking something like that, or somewhat less? And do I start with a 2.0 case, or are either of the other two stock case sizes equally good, as they will be fly-cut for bigger cylinders anyhow, and align-bored and cut for clearance of the larger stroke? With this info, I ought to be able to make an intelligent decision.
