How can I eliminate bump steer and tracking on my 944?

Suspension

Model: 944, Year:1987, Mileage:125000, Type of use:Street use only
I own a 1987 base model 944. I recently set aside the facory 15" cookie cutter style rims and replaced them with 17" OEM 911 Boxter "twist" rims. 8.5" wide in front and 10" wide in the rear.Front tires are 215 50 and rear are 235 45. I wanted to achieve a stronger stance and a more modern look on the vehicle. The car looks great and performs well for the most part. Unfortunately, I am now experiecing some "under steer" while cornering and a significant amount of "bump steer" and tracking on the highway.I also had a computerized 4 wheel alignment at a local tire shop.Is there a way to eliminate these issues by aligning the tires differently or should I look at further updating the suspension?I would appreciate any advice or constructive critisism. Thanks
