Am replacing engine compartment fuel lines, and intake manifold gaskets/spacers while in there. Injectors sent to the cleaners. Engine in car. Cylinders 4-6 intake valves exhibit varying degrees of tarnish to slight build up; no caking. Intend to clean them.  I do not have access to a walnut blaster. Am considering cleaning the intake valves one-by-one using a retail aggressive solvent for fuel systems.  To prevent cylinder/oil contamination I intend to bring each cylinder to TDC, spray the solvent, let it work, and remove residual as necessary. To prevent cylinder scuffing from solvent leakage will just crack the valve open and apply fogging oil into the cylinder prior to bringing next cylinder to TDC. Will appreciate any thoughts on method, technique, solvent choice, fogging oil vs Marvel Mystery Oil, any other considerations. Tier one fuel and only Techroline since new. Should be three photos attached. Thanks.
