How low can you go?

Vehicle Information: Year: 1993; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.6 B&B headers w/ a dual outlet Fabspeed "muffler"; Total Mileage: 40,000;

The car currently has a very nice street/track suspension Cup anti-roll bars and single adjustable Koni with a progressive Eibach spring that lowers the car about 1.5" from USA spec. The car is only driven at DE's and will likely Club Race. I am searching for a track only set up. Would it be a mistake to lower the car more or should I get stronger springs? Not counting tire rub can the 964 handling be hurt by going too low?
