I'm sorry, I did forget that detail. Unless I left my car sitting for a day or two (in which case the battery is completely dead) the engine will turn over just fine, but the car wouldn't actually start. The engine just turned and turned. The only time the car started was when I would jump-start it, or use starter fluid. Now, neither of those no longer work. When I use the starter fluid, however, the car seems to be closer to starting. You can hear the engine trying to rev up instead of just turning incessantly.
