Thanks Ed. no start yet, but cranks really well. Dist and coil are wired correctly now with new pts (.016)on lobe at Z1,timing set fair. fuses good, ohms for them good.7-8 fuse connection good. I am thinking it must be the Perma-tune since the car was running fine before parking. Black wire to dist with key off measures some contact with ground, and with ignition on, measures a good 12 volts. Also, what amperage are 3 fuses in eng. compartment? 25/8/8? and #7,8 are 25/15 presently. I will refit Bosch CD, with coil that fits that.Presently have had no firing through ign. wires tested with timing light. coil is good. forgot to check points fire last night though. Thanks for any suggestions. E
