I have looked through the questions and know that there is a lot of concern about IMS bearing failure.  My question is:  Are all 996 cars susceptible to this?  I change my oil regularly and no metal pieces have been seen.  But  I drive my car only during the summer.  I would hate to replace an engine.  Should all 996 owners try to have some kind of retrofit?
