Hello Joel, I've searched the previous answers, but found no question with this detail: I'm installing RoW springs in my '95 993 Cab, stock struts. In placing the springs in the perches, I have two choices: I can place the top of the coil such that the spring end is fitted correctly in the rubber perch; if I do that, the bottom coil side rests against the very small metal tab that locates the stock coil bottom end. Or, I can locate the bottom coil end against the metal tab, as the stock spring did, and allow the top coil end to locate where it will. I'm more inclined to the second case: locate the bottom coil end against the tab (or remove the tab). I'm not given to having a sharp end, however small, resting against the side of the spring. What is your practice? Take care, and keep well. Cheers, David Gardner
