Model: Carrera S Cab, Year:2010, Mileage:1100, Type of use:Street use only
According to my understanding of the owners manual on my 2010 Carrera S Cab, there is a sensor in the tachometer that adjusts the instrument lighting, when the headlights or parking lights are not on (headlight switch in "home" position). However, none of the analogue gauges (tachometer, speedometer, oil and water temp, oil pressure, fuel level) are illuminated until the headlight switch is moved from home to the parking light or headlight position. In these two positions, illumination level can be controlled (but not much) by turning the odometer reset knob.Should the analogue gauges be illuminated, when neither the headlights or parking lights are off? If so, any suggestions as to what might be wrong? Thanks.
