I changed from Mobil 1 0W40 to Joe Gibbs Driven DT-40 (5W40)  oil,  changed the oil filter from the standard cannister to the  LNEngineering full flow adapter and a K&N filter (KN 1007 -  Corvette Z06), installed a magnetic drain plug, and a SA 300 Filter Mag.  Although not listed in Porsche spec A40, it is the only oil brand they carry.  Furthermore, they recommend the DT40 for street use.  I have put my faith in them, as the Porsche guys at Sunset Porsche in Beaverton, OR say that "you cant go wrong with LNEngineering; those guys measure everything."  Now the equestion - what is your take on Joe Gibbs Driven brand oil?

I also have the same arrangement in my 2001 Boxster, except the oil which is Motul 8100 X-cess 5W40. wit the addition of replacing the  IMS bearing wit the LNEngineering dual rou repalcement kit.
