I was informed about the mechanical LSD on my 1994 Turbo 3.6 prior to purchase and understand a Technical Bulletin has been released regarding it. My question involves the peculiar nosies emitted by the LSD or rear axle. The nosies are escpeially noticable when engaging reverse mode and turning at slower speeds. The noise is difficult to expalin but sounds similiar to a lesser garden variety of gear grinding. Is this something I need to be concerned? Is performance compromised? Would a Quife LSD eliminate these noises? What are your thoughts on this matter?
