The torque spec for alloy wheel nuts is 96 ft-lbs as noted in the specs and on this site. If I am using steel wheel nuts should they be torqued to a different spec? I have been told they should not be tightened as much as they alloy ones. The car is essentially stock, other than lowered somewhat (but not slammed) and 7 & 8 inch Fuchs instead of the stock 6 & 7 inch Fuchs (16"). The car is used on the street but is mostly used for DE.
