MFI To Weber Conversion

Fuel System

Vehicle Information: Model: 911T; Year: 1972; Body Type: Targa; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.4L Stock Motor; Total Mileage: 100K;

Hi Ed -I've been calling local shops to find someone to rebuild the engine in my 911T. It's a stock motor with basic upgrades such as Carrera chain tensioners, Turbo lower valve covers, and SSI heat exchangers.One shop suggested a conversion from my stock MFI feul system to a Weber carburetor system during the rebuild process. They mentioned as how it would be more reliable in the long run and give the motor some extra kick. Is this true? Could you let me know of some pros and cons associated with this type of conversion please.As always, thanks for your help. This isn't the first time I've run to you for advice.Sanford
