I'd like to replace the stock motor mounts on my '78 SC with semi solid mounts (I'm planning to purchase WEVO's "blue pillow" mounts.) The car is street legal, but, it used exclusively for DEs.This appears to be a pretty straightforward effort and I believe I need only support the engine from below with a floor jack while I remove and replace the mounts. However, I'm concerned about placing stress on other driveline components while lifting/supporting the engine. Is this a vaild concern? Are there other steps I should take, prior to starting the replacement? Finally, I may also elect to replace the tranny mounts with the same WEVO product. Any guidance for this part of the job? Thanks.Jim BurnettFlorida Crown Region
